Extract a PSL File from a Device

Main Method:

1. Right-click on a Px40 device's PSL folder in Studio Explorer and select Extract PSL.
2. After retrieving the PSL file, close the Extract dialog by clicking Close.

Note:

If you extract a PSL file from a device that does not store the position information of the PSL scheme elements, the layout of the scheme may not be as originally drawn. Also the “Original” and “Logic only” CRC values may not match the original scheme. Nevertheless, the scheme will be logically correct.

Alternative Method:

1. Select Tools on the main menu and select PSL Editor (Px40). This will launch the PSL Editor.
2. Open a connection to the device from within the PSL Editor.
3.
