Send Settings to a Device

Before using this functionality, please read the Extended Platform Devices topic, as this explains the differences between the two types of protocols for the extraction of data.

To send settings to a device there must be at least one setting file in a settings folder for a device.

1. Right-click on the device name in Studio Explorer and select Send....
2. In the Send to... dialog select the setting files and click Send.
3. Close the Send to... dialog by clicking Close.
