Data Model (DM) Site and Downloading

Versions of the software prior to V4.0.0 allowed customers to download data models from ftp sites, but some customers have access restrictions applied to ftp locations.

Accordingly, Version V4.0.0 of the MiCOM S1 Studio software introduces the https download function for data models. This means that you can use the Data Model Manager(DMM) module to download data models by accessing a secure web-site.

Important

The Data Model Manager can not launch while MiCOM S1 Studio is running.
Please close MiCOM S1 Studio before trying to run the Data Model Manager software.

To Access the Data Model Manager (DMM):

1. Click the Programs + Schneider Electric + MiCOM S1 Studio + Data Model Manager menu option.
2. The Data Model Manager window will then open, allowing you to:
3. Add New Data Models or
4. Remove installed Data Models; or
5. Export installed Data Models to a Data Model Archive file or to
6. Import Data Models from a DM Archive file

To Download Data Models from an https Web Site:

1. Click the Programs + Schneider Electric + MiCOM S1 Studio + Data Model Manager menu option.
2. The Data Model Manager window will then open. Click the Add option button and then click the Next button.
3. Then click the Internet option button, select the relevant option from the drop-down list box and click the Next button.
4. The Data Model Manager software will then look for data models which you can select and download.
