Export a Settings File to CAPE Format

It is possible to export a scheme to other external formats, so they can be viewed using other software or so they can tested for technical suitability or compliance. The MiCOM S1 Studio software can export your schemes into a variety of different formats.

To Export a Scheme in CAPE Format:

  1. Expand a device in Studio Explorer until you can see the Settings section, then highlight a scheme.
  2. Right-click the scheme and select Export....
  3. In the "Export Settings" dialog box make sure that the Export to CAPE (Electrocon) format option is checked.
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. In the "Save as" dialog select a file name and click the Save button.
  6. When the file has been saved successfully, click the Close button.
