Add a Device

1. Open Studio Explorer and Create or Open a system.
2. Right-click on an element in Studio Explorer and select New Devicegeneric name for any piece of equipment that can be communicated with using Courier..
   A device can be added at any level; system, substation, voltage or bay level.
3. Select a device type.
4. In the Select Type dialog, click on a Type name.
   These may be filtered by entering the first few characters of a device name in the filter box.
   Click Next.
5. Enter the full model number of the device and click Next.
6. Select the required settings file language from the drop-down list and click on a Model, then click Next.
7. Type a Name and Comment for the device and click Finish.
