Change the Default Location for Systems

It is possible to select a path to store the data models. You can do this either when the MiCOM S1 Studio software is being installed or after installation.

To change the default location for system during installation:

1. The installation program shows a dialog box where you can specify a location for the data models. To change from the default, select a new location and continue with the installation routine.
2. The installer will check that the new location has enough space, and it will then movedate files which were installed previously to the new location. It will also update any entries in the Windows Registry and any INI files for the MiCOM S1 Studio software, so your installation is aware of the new data models location.

To change the default location for system after installation:

1. Select Options > Preferences from the main menu bar.
2. Select Application from the left hand side of the preferences window and make sure you have highlighted the General tab.
3. In the advanced section enter or browse to define your preferred default folder location for Systems.
