MiCOM S1 Studio preferences can be changed using the Preferences window. This window is accessed by clicking the Options + Preferences menu option. This shows all the S1 Studio program preferences, arranged into four main sections: Application, Editors, Protocols and Advanced. You can expand the relevant section in the tree view by clicking the + icon. You will then be able to see each section of the preferences and make the relevant changes.

A short summary of what each group of preferences signify is provided in an information notice towards the top of the relevant page in the preferences window.
Note
A context-sensitive button bar may appear, which will allow you to do certain tasks at each section of the Preferences tree. Click the Save or Apply button on the button bar to save your changes. The Preferences button bar may also have options to Restore Default settings, Add/Edit/Delete connections or Install/Uninstall external modules.
