Open Studio Explorer
MiCOM S1 Studio has a number of panes in which it displays key parts of the scheme. These panes include:
- Studio Explorer
This shows details of the scheme in the form of an expandable tree-based hierarchy. Substations, Voltage Levels, Bays, Devices, Connections, Settings, Measurements, Events and Disturbance Records can be identified quickly based on their icon/colour and their position relative to other items in the tree.
- Properties
This shows details of elements which have been selected in the Studio Explorer pane. The properties pane shows details of dates, times and file paths, and lets you change names of elements (where appropriate).
- Start
Initially this pane may show the Start page (which gives direct access to recently opened files). It will also show the contents of any files that you open (for example, settings, measurements, events and disturbance records). You can right-click any item to see more details; and edit those for which editing is allowed. A tab will be shown at the top of the Start page pane to identify each currently open document. Multiple files will be shown in a tabbed view.
- Search Results
This pane will be hidden by default until search is enabled. Search results show the search criteria and any matching records.
These panes can be closed, by clicking on the small square close icon at the top-right of the chosen pane.
These panes can also be set to "auto-hide" by clicking the auto-hide icon
or
on the left of the close icon. This means the pane will shrink down to a minimum size automatically when it is not needed, which leaves more room on screen to view the information in any other open panes..
To view a Pane:
1. Select on the menu bar to select the you
wish to display.
To hide a Pane:
1. Click the small close icon
on the top-right of the pane you

To auto-hide a Pane:

or
