- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 runs under Windows VISTA as long as the user has administrator rights.
- When installing or uninstalling PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5, it is necessary to deactivate "UAC" (User Access Control)
mode.
- To install PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 on a Vista PC, please proceed as follows:
1)
Run the "VistaInstall.exe" software (Place the cursor on the "VistaInstall.exe" file
and double-click on it to run the software)
2) Install PL7 V4.5
3) Restart the PC
4) Install Service Pack 5.
Note that the Driver Manager is no longer installed under "Modicon Telemecanique" - it can be found in the
"Schneider Electric" group.
- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 provides a new Unitelway driver for Windows VISTA. In addition, for PL7 Server,
a new C++ client is provided for Windows VISTA.
- To use PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 with the XIP Driver, you will need to download version 2.1 (minimum)
of this driver for the 32-bit edition of Windows Vista. You can find this version of the XIP driver in the
SchneiderXipDriverSuite.exe file, available online at
schneider-electric.com

Click on

- For the online documentation to operate correctly, run the Microsoft Windows6.0-KB917607-x86. msu
software provided in the "VISTA TOOLS" directory (Before launching PL7, place the cursor on
the "Windows6.0-KB917607-x86. msu" file
and double-click on it to run the software).
- Windows Vista support for PL7 add-ins (PL7 SDKC, PL7 DIF, PL7 FUZ) is not provided
by PL7 V4.5
Service Pack 5. Likewise, CANopen and the converters do not support Windows VISTA.

PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 enables users to write %IW words. To authorize this write operation, simply
open
the PL7SYS.INI file and set key word "ReadWriteIW" to "TRUE".

4 - Support for the TSXMFPP001M PV06 memory card
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Support for the new Flash EPROM application memory extension: TSXMFPP001M PV06
which provides a capacity of:
- 512 Kwords of Flash Memory with a TSXP574* CPU
- 384 Kwords of Flash Memory with a TSXP573* CPU
- 256 Kwords of Flash Memory with a TSXP572* CPU
It can be configured on all version V5.6 or later Premium and Atrium processors.

RISK OF UNEXPECTED CLOSING OF THE PL7 APPLICATION It is essential to use the Service Pack 5 version of PL7 V45 for opening or downloading applications with the 512 Kword memory capacity configured. All other versions of PL7 will close unexpectedly if an attempt is made to open or download such an application.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or equipment damage. |
Note:
If the PL7 application takes up all 512Kwords on the TSXMFPP001M card, its conversion to Unity Pro
will require the use of a larger capacity memory card, TSXMFPP002M.

- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 s’exécute sous Windows
VISTA à condition d'avoir les droits administrateur.
- Lors de l'installation ou la désinstallation de PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5,
il est nécessaire de désactiver
le mode "UAC"
(User Access Control ou Contrôle
des Comptes Utilisateurs).
- Pour équiper un PC Vista avec PL7 V4.5 Service Pack
5, veuillez suivre les étapes suivantes :
1) Exécuter le logiciel "VistaInstall.exe" fourni dans le
répertoire "VISTA TOOLS" (mettre le curseur
sur le fichier
"VistaInstall.exe"

- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 läuft unter Windows VISTA, wenn die erforderlichen Administratorrechte erteilt wurden.
- Es ist erforderlich, bei der Installation bzw. Deinstallation von PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 den Modus „UAC“
(User Access Control = Benutzerkontensteuerung) zu deaktivieren.
- Gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor, um PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 auf einem PC mit
Windows Vista zu installieren:
1)
Die Software „VistaInstall.exe“ muss im Verzeichnis „VISTA TOOLS“ ausgeführt werden. (Mit
dem Cursor auf die Datei
„VistaInstall.exe“
gehen und durch Doppelklick ausführen.)
2) Installieren Sie PL7 V4.5.
3) Starten Sie den PC neu.
5) Installieren Sie das Service Pack 5.

Die Konfiguration ist an allen Premium- und Atrium-Prozessoren ab Version V5.6 möglich.

GEFAHR EINES UNBEABSICHTIGTEN SCHLIESSENS DER PL7-ANWENDUNG Das Öffnen oder Herunterladen einer Anwendung mit einer Speicherkapazität von 512 KWörtern muss unbedingt mit der Version PL7 V45 Service Pack 5 erfolgen. Das Öffnen oder Herunterladen einer solchen Anwendung führt dazu, dass alle anderen Versionen von PL7 geschlossen werden.
Die Nichtbeachtung dieser Anweisung kann schwere Verletzungen und/oder Materialschäden zur Folge haben! |
Hinweis:
Wenn die PL7-Anwendung die gesamte Speicherkapazität von 512 KWörtern der Karte TSXMFPP001M belegt,

- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 eseguibile su Windows VISTA a condizione di avere diritti di amministratore.
- Durante l'installazione o la disinstallazione del PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 è necessario disattivare
la modalità "UAC"
(User Access Control o Controllo Report Utilizzatori).
- Per installare PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 su un PC con sistema operativo Vista procedere nel modo seguente :
1) Eseguire il software
VistaInstall.exe contenuto nella cartella "VISTA TOOLS" (Portare il cursore sul

1 - Soporte de Windows Vista
32 bits

- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 se ejecuta en Windows VISTA siempre que se disponga de derechos de administrador.
- Durante la instalación o desinstalación del PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5, se aconseja desactivar el modo "UAC"
(User Access Control o Control de las cuentas de usuario).
- Para equipar un PC Vista con PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5, siga los pasos siguientes:
1)
Ejecutar el software VistaInstall.exe que se proporciona en el directorio
"VISTA TOOLS" (Sitúe el cursor
en el archivo "VistaInstall.exe"
y ejecútelo haciendo doble clic).
2) Instale PL7 V4.5.
3) Reinicie el PC.
4) Instale el Service Pack 5.
Tenga en cuenta que ahora Driver Manager está instalado en el grupo "Schneider Electric", y no
en "Modicon Telemecanique".
- PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 proporciona un nuevo controlador Unitelway para Windows VISTA. Además, para
el Servidor PL7, Windows VISTA proporciona un nuevo cliente C++.
- Para utilizar PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 con Driver XIP, descargue la versión 2.1 (mínimo)
de ese controlador para Windows Vista 32 bits. Esta versión del controlador XIP se encuentra en el archivo
SchneiderXipDriverSuite.exe, en
schneider-electric.com.

- Para un correcto funcionamiento de la documentación en línea, se tiene que ejecutar el software Microsoft
Windows6.0-KB917607-x86. msu que se proporciona en el directorio "VISTA TOOLS" (antes de iniciar el PL7,
sitúe el cursor en el archivo "Windows6.0-KB917607-x86. msu"
y ejecútelo haciendo doble clic).
- El soporte de Windows Vista de los software que acompañan al PL7 (PL7 SDKC, PL7 DIF, PL7 FUZ) no
lo proporciona
el PL7 V4.5
Service Pack 5. Igualmente, ni CANopen ni los convertidores admiten Windows VISTA.

2 - Nuevas versiones de los sistemas operativos Modicon Premium y TSX Micro

- Soporte de las nuevas referencias de las UC Modicon Premium V6.2 en el catálogo PL7 y entrega
de las nuevas versiones de los OS V6.2;
- Soporte de las nuevas referencias de las UC Modicon Micro V6.4 en el catálogo PL7 y entrega
de las nuevas versiones de los OS V6.4.

3 - Adición de la autorización de escritura de las palabras de entrada

El PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 permite escribir las palabras %IW. Para autorizar esta escritura, basta con abrir
el archivo PL7SYS.INI e introducir la palabra clave " ReadWriteIW" al valor "TRUE".

4 - Soporte en la tarjeta de memoria TSXMFPP001M PV06
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soporte de la nueva extensión de memoria de la aplicación Flash EPROM: TSXMFPP001M PV06
que ofrece una capacidad de:
- 512 Kb de Memoria Flash con una CPU TSXP574*,
- 384 Kb de Memoria Flash con una CPU TSXP573*,
- 256 Kb de Memoria Flash con una CPU TSXP572*.
Se puede configurar en todos los procesadores Premium y Atrium a partir de la versión V5.6.

RIESGO DE CIERRE INESPERADO DE LA APLICACIÓN PL7 La apertura o descarga de una aplicación con la capacidad de memoria de 512 Kb configurada tiene que realizarse indispensablemente con la versión PL7 V45 Service Pack 5. La apertura o descarga de una aplicación de este tipo provoca el cierre inesperado de cualquier otra versión de PL7.
La inobservancia de estas instrucciones puede provocar heridas graves o daños en el equipo. |
Nota:
Si la aplicación PL7 ocupa el total de los 512 Kb de la tarjeta TSXMFPP001M, su conversión a Unity Pro
necesitará el uso de una tarjeta de memoria con una capacidad más grande TSXMFPP002M.

5 - Correcciones de fallos

PL7 V4.5 Service Pack 5 aporta la corrección de una lista de fallos de funcionamiento de las versiones anteriores.
