Note: UPS 15.0 was only released to field service representatives.

 Release Notes (UPS 13.3):
=========================

 Features - N/A

 Improvements

  1. Eliminated potential that the system would get stuck indicating "Graceful Shutdown
shutdown in progress" if the Main Intelligence Module (MIM) is removed during a "Reboot
     UPS" process
  2. Eliminated potential that the system would momentarily turn off the output if the MIM is
removed immediately after a "Reboot UPS" process is completed.

 Known Issues

  1. High inductive/transformer load can cause DC bus error during start up or transfer to battery
  2. Installing a discharged battery will cause reported run time to be low even if other
     batteries are fully charged
  3. Auto-update of a new IM fails if an extra NMC is installed in the smartslot

Release Notes (UPS 13.2):
=========================

 Features

  1. Support for Firmware update when the UPS is in Manual Bypass state

     system firmware (see Module Compatibility)
  4. Warning when Redundant Intelligence Module (RIM) is starting up and not ready to take control
     of the system
  5. Alarms for no PMs present, incorrect firmware, and other internal errors
  6. Support for 100/200V Output Voltage setting
  7. Support for Low Runtime Warning Setting
  8. Support for High Apparent Power Warning Setting

 Improvements

  1. Eliminated false log entries for SPI communication alarm detected \ cleared

 Known Issues

  1. High inductive/transformer load can cause DC bus error during start up or transfer to battery
  2. Installing a discharged battery will cause reported run time to be low even if other batteries are fully charged
  3. Auto-update of a new IM fails if an extra NMC is installed in the smartslot

Module Compatibility:
========================

Compatible with Power Module (PM) firmware PMA 5.0

What to expect when installing a PM with PMA 1.3 (included in system package UPS 10.8):
If the UPS output is ON,
the PM will automatically connect to the output (solid green LED).
If the UPS output is OFF,
the PM will stay disconnected from the output (pulsing green LED).
After 5 minutes, the system will display a warning (Unknown UPS internal error [1511-00XX]).
The warning means the PM firmware is not the same as the version included in the system package.
  If the output is ON,
the PM will NOT auto update!
  If the output is OFF,
the PM will auto update to PMA 3.3 in 2 minutes and the warning will clear.

What to expect when installing a PM with PMA 3.3 (included in system package UPS 13.2/UPS 13.3):
If the UPS output is ON,
the PM will stay disconnected from the output (pulsing green LED)).
If the UPS output is OFF,
the PM will stay disconnected from the output (pulsing green LED)).
After 5 minutes, the system will display a warning (Unknown UPS internal error [1511-00XX]).
The warning means the PM firmware is not the same as the version included in the system package.
The PM will auto update to PMA 3.3 in 2 minutes and the warning will clear.
If the UPS output is ON after the auto update is complete,
the power module will connect to the output (solid green LED).

Compatible with Intelligence Module (IM) firmware UPS 18.0 / IMA 10.0

What to expect when installing an IM with UPS 10.8 FW in the empty IM slot:
  If the output is OFF,
After 15 minutes, the system will display a warning (Unknown UPS internal error [1502-00XX]).
The warning means the new IM firmware is not same as the firmware of the IM in control.
  If the output is ON,
the system will display no warning message.
The new IM will NOT auto-update to UPS 13.2.
To get the new IM to the latest firmware, the UPS firmware upgrade process must be performed
with the UPS 10.8 IM acting as MIM.

What to expect when installing an IM with UPS 13.2 or later in the empty IM slot:
After 15 minutes, the system will display a warning (Unknown UPS internal error [1502-00XX]).
The warning means the new IM firmware is not the same as the firmware of the IM in control.
The new IM will auto update to UPS 18.0 firmware in ~1 hour and the warning will clear.
A failure to auto update results in a warning (Unknown UPS internal error [1504-00XX]).
In the event of an auto update failure, to get the new IM to the latest firmware, the UPS firmware
upgrade process must be performed while the IM with older firmware is acting MIM (preferably
alone in the system with output off).

Compatible with Battery Module (BM) firmware 8.49

If a BM with firmware other than 8.49 is installed, the main intelligence module will update
  the BM firmware to 8.49.
There is no notification that there is mismatched firmware.
Battery module FW update is done in the background and can take several hours to complete.
